This Vancouver condominium underwent a major gut renovation for a couple who were downsizing from their large traditional family home. Their wish for this new light-filled home was to be contemporary and simple in style, casually sophisticated for their entertaining needs, warm, inviting and comfortable for everyday life. Their much loved collections of artwork, sculpture and books were to be artfully placed for them to see and enjoy. All millwork and most of the furnishings were custom designed for this home. Warm earthy textures were chosen for fabrics, finishes and the unique bronzed metal patina fireplace.
